A cleaning technician, sometimes referred to as a janitor, is responsible for keeping buildings and properties clean and sanitary. Their duties can vary depending on the specific workplace, but typically include:•Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors•Dusting furniture and surfaces•Cleaning windows and glass doors•Taking out the trash•Maintaining restrooms•Replenishing supplies•Cleaning technicians sometimes work evenings or weekends, when buildings are unoccupied.
