Pay and Benefits
Paraprofessional II: $20.74 to $23.34/hr. (approximately $43,139 to $48,547 annually)*
Paraprofessional I: $20.10 to $23.34/hr. (approximately $41,808 to $47,008 annually)
The starting pay for this position is the beginning of the pay range.

DEFINITION:Establish a positive and nurturing relationship with children.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Age and Education: 18 years or older; High school diploma or equivalent; Preference to be given to applicants with 3 or more Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or related field college semester units with a grade C or better.
Experience: Experience working with children with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.
Other: Fingerprint and criminal clearance required.
*Paraprofessional II must have 6 ECE, CD, or related field college semester units and two years of work experience as a Paraprofessional. Preference is given for experience working with children with exceptional needs and/or disabilities.
Other Requirements: Must have a valid CA. Driver License, Registered and Insured Vehicle. Must be authorized to work in the US.
