Description:
Staff Accountant 1 assists in maintaining financial recordsand ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded. Ensures theaccuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconciles subsidiary ledgeraccounts to the general ledger. Compiles financial data to aid more senioraccountants in the preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss statementsand other financial reports. Assists in analyzing current costs, revenues,financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues andexpenses.
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance,Business Administration, Economics, or Mathematics
·Minimum 1 year of relevant Accounting/Financeexperience
·MS Excel skills
·Understanding and competence in using computers/basic software programs
Preferred:
·Previous healthcare experience
·Experience working in an integrated caredelivery system (IDS)
