The Project & OverviewWe are seeking contractor services in the shape of staffaugmentation to fill the needs of Mobility solution architecture and technicalleadership to establish Enterprise Mobility Practice. Several in flightprojects that are in progress are dependent upon a functioning MobilityPlatform based on new Device and App Management to support new set of Mobiledevices and applications.The primary role of the Mobility solution architect is toreview and refine the architecture, policies and standards for setting up andoperationalizing the overall Mobility platform. The solution architect willensure the Mobile Device Management and Applications Management solutions areconfigured in compliance with the architecture, policies, and standards. Thesolution architect will provide the technical leadership for successfultransition of Mobile Device and Application Management platform, mobile devicetransition to IOS and Android while supporting Bring Your Own Device policiesand successful deployment of expanded Mobile application footprint withsubstantial business impact. Finally, the contractor will be required tointerpret, use and apply information from the environment to inform a range ofcontinuous improvement activities.ResponsibilitiesScope
- Collaborateswith all relevant parties (including Mobility CoE (Center of Excellence),Enterprise Architecture, Business partners, Business relationship team,Infrastructure and Network teams, Security Operations) in order to review theobjectives and constraints of each solution and determine conformance with theestablished Mobility Platform Architecture, policies and standards. Recommendsthe most suitable technical architecture and defines the solution at a highlevel
- Thesolution architect will provide the technical leadership to review, refine, andvalidate the Mobility platform built around Azure Intune and prescribingtesting readiness/validation, usage of mobile device resources and deployingmobile applications on the Mobile platform.
- Thesolution architect will bring strong understanding of deploying Mobileapplications on Enterprise IOS and Android device platforms.
- Thesolution architect will provide thought leadership and technical leadership inestablishing the Mobility Center of excellence (CoE) with specific focus todefine/refine architecture standards, required mobility policies, testingstandards and implementing/enforcing the policies configurations.
- Supportapplication design and development where required, focusing on knowledgetransfer and retention from delivery teams
- Build thelibrary of re-usable foundation for mobility components including but notlimited to automation, unit testing, onboarding, and off boarding capabilitieswith respective product owner for the relevant mobile libraries, continuing toiterate as the maturity of the CoE increases
- Identifiesimplementation risks and analyzes potential impact on the Mobility pipelineenvironment and on the achievement of scheduled objectives of the Mobilitypractice.
Deliverables
- Assist client project manager in overall project delivery by focusing on technicaldeliverables as required by the project scope.
- AssistEnterprise architects with refinement and validation of the Mobility Platformarchitecture, policies, standards and collaborating with members of Center ofExcellence (Mobility CoE).
- Manageproject technical scope of deliverables as backlog and tech debt in AzureDevOps.
- Createtechnical specifications required for end-to-end Mobility pipeline and supportof client deliverables. o Obtain necessary reviews, approvals, andcoordination with client IT stakeholders (applications, enterprisearchitecture, infrastructure, networking, security, etc.)
- Assist inestablishing the testing standards and testing pipeline for Mobility platformand deploying mobility solutions.
- Managesthe health, resilience, stability, and operational performance of a product’stechnology components, including ensuring compliance with all technology risk,security, hygiene and resilience standards
- Establishquality targets of technical deliverables in accordance with client's policy
- Providestatus reporting to client project manager and designated IT leadership at recurringproject team and sponsor meetings.
- Problem-solving/decision-makingas needed by the project.
Requirements
- Deeptechnical experience in setting up and establishing a mobility pipeline (deviceon boarding, mobile application on boarding, upgrades, testing…) at theenterprise level.
- In depthknowledge of Microsoft Intune
- iOS &Android deep understanding as well as their native languages (Swift / Kotlin)
- 10 yearsof progressively responsible related experience with a minimum of 5 years’experience in a technical leadership role
- Served astechnical authority for Mobility technologies and adjacent technologies(Mobility infrastructure and Mobility security).
- Experiencein architecting, designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and commissioningMobile Device Management and Mobile Application Management, Mobile applicationtesting and deployment.
- Ability toprovide level-of-effort estimates and complete strategy focused deliverableswithin allotted time
- Strongcustomer service and collaboration skills are required
- Demonstratedability to communicate complex problems and issues in a concise manner(oral/written) to many different audiences (customers, peers, and management)is required
- Demonstratedability to lead and encourage collaboration among a multi-discipline team ofresources to accomplish established goals effectively and efficiently isrequired
- Demonstratestrong consultation skills with the ability to provide thought leadership andoffer high level recommendations without the full picture
- Knowledgeof natural gas business will be a plus
- Microsoft365 Certified
