WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a curious program manager who can influence and drive strong ownership, focusing on reducing customer effort by deeply understanding customer needs and creatively solving problems. You will earn the trust of our IT, Business, and program teams to deliver an inspiring vision and help build processes and prioritization mechanisms for the Enterprise Data & Analytics team to ensure we are growing in a high performing and optimized way.The ideal candidate will be seasoned in program management within the technology space with strong organizational change and communication skills. This person will have substantial, demonstrated experience in an agile and program model structure. This role requires a candidate who is strong at building relationships across functions to align strategies and drive execution. This person will be a strategic problem solver with an ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities while driving a plan to execution. This individual will play equal parts problem solver and doer, tackling the roles of strategist, operator, influencer and delivery specialist, and create an inclusive team environment that inspires a diversity of perspectives and bold ideas.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This role will lead programs and will be responsible for the end-to-end timely, on budget technology execution of the program, actively engaging key business and technology portfolio partners to ensure opportunities, risks and issues are understood and addressed. This person will co-create and help develop product dashboards, portfolio reporting and analysis activities. In this role there is plenty of opportunity to deliver frictionless customer capabilities leveraging cutting edge technologies in the eCommerce and Personalization domains.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You'll work with multiple Businesses and Engineering teams to help create world-class consumer experiences, as well as to understand the needs of the program, develop and execute a program communications plan, utilize program collaboration tools and manage the delivery of key technology solutions into market. You will work closely to coordinate with other Technology teams on dependencies across the portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns and maintains the requirements of reporting program status end-to-end including quality and timelines of value delivery. Accountable for storytelling to all stakeholders and meeting Portfolio reporting requirements
  • Responsible for all planning and for driving execution and communication on all scope and dependencies for a successful product release/launch
  • Owns and propels program plans, scope, schedule and budget with accountability for the project/program value delivery
  • Drives and manages the budget tracking and reporting process, including forecasting and variance analysis
  • Works with Product Management to ensures stories are ready for sprint planning, backlog grooming and estimation. Measures baseline velocity and in aggregate and assesses burndown rates per sprint for the project/program work
  • Owns and facilitates cross functional estimation by engineering and other functional teams involved in a project/program leveraging fundamental estimation frameworks
  • Owns the identification and reporting of all potential dependencies and risks associated with a project/program
  • Responsible for continual process and efficiency improvement within Program working team by conducting Program retrospectives with cross functional members and shares best practices
  • Determines a course of action to resolve routine project/program related problems and may be responsible for the removal of barriers and dependencies
  • Defines the project/program definition of done in collaboration with stakeholders and ensures execution against these criteria
  • Responsible for the delivery of program at quality with limited defects and unresolved tickets that may impact program KPIs that include cost, schedule and user adoption
  • Actively involved in technical analysis, identifying gaps and ensuring Product Manager involvement in optimal business decision process and an efficient solution delivery
  • Assesses the business impact of different solutions, and can assess the tradeoffs between business needs, technology requirements, costs and communicates it to the Product Manager
  • Responsible for the execution of RFPs and RFIs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s (preferred) or equivalent experience.
  • 6 years of Technical Program Management experience; self-motivated, with a high sense of accountability, urgency, and drive.
  • 3 years of data and analytics  experience (preferred), including previous experience delivering technical programs.
  • Formal training in project or portfolio management methodologies and/or certifications
  • Experience running and executing multi-million-dollar budgets(>5M)across multiple technology platforms and business areas
  • Outstanding collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills, including an ability to clearly connect with business stakeholders, and Technology teams
  • Excellent facilitation skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and work in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a demonstrated proficiency with technical programs/projects
  • Proven knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies including SAFe, Kanban, and Scrum, as well as traditional waterfall methodologies
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio(or similar tools)
  • Deep experience with tools such as Aha!, JIRA and Confluence
