Description:

We are looking for the right Data PrivacyEngineer to help us ensure we are storing and sharing the data needed to run companies business operation securely, and in accordance with statutoryregulations. In this role, you will be part of the core BusinessIntelligence and Data Visualization (BI/Analytics) platform engineering team.You will be a core contributor in our Foundational Platform team, contributingto data security projects around our cloud services and applications, and on-premisessolutions. You will be responsible for supporting projects driven by theorganizations data privacy architects, and platform and analytics development engineeringteams. This role is highly cross-functional, and you will work very closelywith various highly skilled platform and software development teams.

Responsibilitiesinclude:

·Assess data privacy needs acrossNike’s Business Intelligence and Data Visualization (BI/Analytics) platforms andcollaborate with stakeholders to develop privacy approaches and privacyengineering for business and technology

·Develop BI/Analytics privacystrategies that align with our Privacy Program goals and statutoryrequirements

·Use existing privacy andcybersecurity policies to identify areas for improvement across the BI/AnalyticPlatforms

·Develop BI/Analytics privacy proceduresand guidelines for implementation

·Conduct analysis and document of currentstate of data privacy across the BI/Analytics platforms recommend and implementimprovements and alternatives in response to organizations data privacy goals

·Analyze and document Cyber Security threatsand possible vulnerabilities across the BI/Analytics and recommend and/orimplement mitigation.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

·Bachelor of Science in computer science,mathematics, or Business Administration degree.

·3-5 years of experience working withBI/Analytics platforms and applications.

·Knowledge of privacy laws and guidancethat apply to commercial organizations

·At least 1 years of experience workingwith privacy issues (as a primary duty)

·Experience interpreting privacy lawsand guidance for implementation for a commercial organization

·Privacy certifications, CIPP/US,CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM preferred

·Experience writing privacy proceduresand guidelines.

·Experience doing presentations forcustomers/sponsors

·Ability to work with minimalsupervision but also willingness to work closely with teams that are notco-located

·Ability to change direction quickly ina fluid environment

·Some cybersecuritybackground/experience

·Some systems infrastructure and cloud-basedcomputing background and experience

Preferred Qualifications:

·Knowledge of information assuranceprinciples and their application

·Detailed understanding and knowledgeof privacy laws and guidance that apply to commercial organizations

·Basic knowledge of US privacy lawsthat apply to private industry and international privacy laws and concepts

·Understanding of privacy engineeringconcepts and principles

·Strong writing and briefing skills

·Knowledge of enterprise and networksecurity concepts and solutions

·Ability to work with others to solvechallenging technical problems

·Ability to build relationships with platformengineers, Analytics Content Developers and Analytics End-Users

·Excellent communication, writing andbriefing skills
