International financial institution seeks bilingual JapaneseAssociate who can complete day-to-day credit processes and activities,including credit analysis, data processing, documentation and due diligence.Prepare complex modeling and analytics to support the development of forecastsand estimates related to required capital and credit loss. Ensure thatcredit-related data is updated and checked in core systems.

Primary responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis and research on the performanceof borrowers to assess historical performance and future projections; ie. Cashflow analysis, risk capital calculations.
• Gather support documentation to structure deals,liaise with middle and back office for KYC purposes, and assist in drafting prescreen memos for the Credit Department.
• Conduct quarterly and annual reviews of loanportfolio and handle a variety of system and procedural issues related to theborrowers such as internal grading, monthly/quarterly reporting, and other adhoc projects.
• Provide ad hoc reports for management.

Requirements

• Formal credit training preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working at acorporate bank or other financial institution.
• Some knowledge of banking and prior internshipsat a bank or financial institution preferred.
• Highly proficient MS Excel, Word and PowerPointskills are required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business orAccounting preferred or equivalent education and training.
• Japanese language skills (business level)preferred but not required.
