Overview

Come grow your career with BIX Produce! We are hiring for Production Associate - Order Assembly. This position is responsible for assembly of orders to include, but not limited to; order revision, printing required documents such as pick tickets, case labels and pallet labels, manage order assembly, accuracy on counts and product, as well as recording of information.

• Starting pay is $18.00 up to $21.00 an hour
• Located 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul
• 7AM - Production Completion; 5 Days per Week, Sundays off 1 other weekday 

Responsibilities

• Know all products and location of products in production• Communicate to processing staff what needs to be produced for current orders• Learn different requirements for all distributors’ and fulfill these requirements to ensure order completion• Direct finished product flow and allocation• Ensure product quality is being packaged for the order• Food Safety as it relates to this position• Perform any other task assigned by leaders

Qualifications

• Must be able to work in all other areas of production

• High school diploma or equivalent• Excellent communication skills• Highly organized and detail orientated to ensure accuracy at all times• Ability to read and write English• Ability to perform tasks on computers, printers, and scanners to assist in completing orders• Must be able to perform basic math

• Minimum 1 year experience in food processing preferred

• Must be able to work in a cold and wet environment

• Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time (8 hours per day)

• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis
