BIX Produce Company is Hiring a Food Assembly Associate - 2nd shift Near Canada, MN
Overview
Come grow your career with BIX Produce!! This is a 1st shift position. We also offer benefits such as health, dental, vision, 401K, and etc! This is a new and exciting opportunity to join our team as a Food Assembly Associate where you will be assembling sandwiches, salads, wraps, and yogurt parfaits.
- Starting pay is $18.00
- Located 10 minutes from downtown St. Paul
- Sun - Thurs
- 3PM - Production Completion; must be able to work up to 11 hours as needed
Responsibilities
• Create products to recipe and appearance specifications, using standard work protocols as a guideline• Verify use of the correct product for each recipe• Inspect raw materials for quality and communicate any deviations • Removes rejected products off the line• General clean up duties (sweeping, emptying garbage, etc.)• Needs to be able to work alongside other individuals on line as a team• Follow all good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)• Maintain a safe working environment to reduce injuries and workers compensation claims.• Food Safety as it relates to this position.• All other duties assigned.
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent• This position does require the handling of pork, dairy, and allergen products.
• Ability to pay attention to detail• Be able to work in cool conditions, 35-45 degrees• Requires standing and/or walking for long periods of time (8 hours per day)• Ability to lift 50 pounds or more on a regular and consistent basis
