Bitterroot Studio is a full-service event floral design studio, specializing in creating dream event flowers. Our passion is providing stunning floral arrangements for an effortless and efficient client experience. We are located in Arvada, Longmont and Brighton.

Job Description:

Floral Studio Assistant Manager performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our floral studio, maintaining exceptional customer service, and assisting in the management of daily operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in floral design, excellent organizational skills, and a customer-centric approach. Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as needed.

Skills:

· Previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role, preferably within a floral or retail environment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Customer service skills

· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

· Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively

· Knowledge of floral industry trends, techniques, and best practices.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

· Proficiency in Google Suite.

· Floral knowledge preferred but not required

Pay Range: Starting at $19

Full Time

Functions and Duties:

1. Assist in Studio Management: Support the Studio Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations, including inventory management, scheduling, dispatching and staff supervision.

2. Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative duties such as print and record-keeping of wire orders, data entry, generating reports as required.

3. Floral Design: Contribute to the creation of stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

4. Order Fulfillment: Coordinate the fulfillment of floral orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to quality standards.

5. Quality Control: Maintain the quality and freshness of floral inventory by monitoring inventory levels, rotating stock, and disposing of expired products.

6. Training and Development: Assist in training new team members on customer service protocols, and studio procedures.

Education:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Formal training in floral design or related field preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
