Bitter Root Pottery has recently opened a beautiful new studio on the 5th floor penthouse of a historic building near the Beverly Grove. We are looking for someone with working knowledge of clay and outstanding customer service!

Job Summary: Welcome each student upon arrival and guide them to the appropriate wheel area for their class experience throughout the shift. Greets incoming guests in a welcoming manner, assists fellow employees and ensures a gracious & hospitable environment. Must maintain a professional attitude and dress.

Art Studio Concierge at Bitter Root Pottery must be able to not only help greet guest checking in but also assist with basic day to day task including but not limited to:

• Answering phone calls / emails
• Assisting with customer pick up
• Maintaining a pristine cleanliness and orderliness of the entrance area.
• Bagging and calling finished artwork for customers
• Facilitating customer pick up of artwork
• Marking artwork
• Organizing and consolidating guest artwork

***Weekend availability is REQUIRED.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
