Description:

- Execution of complex testing procedures on SOA integration solutions, specifically focusing on tools such as IBM Enterprise Service Bus, IBM APP Connect, IBM API Connect, IBM MQ, and IBM DataPower.
- Proficiency in RESTful API methodologies.
- Expertise in SOA principles, Webservices, SOAP protocols, RESTful services, and related web standards like WSDL, XML, XSLT, XSD; programming and script writing in ESQL and Java/JEE frameworks.
- Advanced familiarity with DataPower appliances, security protocols including Web Services Security, SSL/TLS, OAuth, and cryptography elements such as digital certificates, encryption algorithms, and digital signatures.
- Skilled in Oracle databases with a strong command over data manipulation (DML), data definition (DDL) languages, and intricate SQL queries.
- Competency with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) platforms.
- Thorough expertise in the entirety of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Effective communication skills, with a proficiency in written and verbal English.
- Ability to draft, execute, and maintain comprehensive Test Plans, Test Cases, and Test Scenarios, leveraging tools such as Azure DevOps or similar.
- Practical experience in testing Web Services utilizing tools like SOAP UI, with a familiarity or past usage of the Rational Performance Tester.
- Capacity to coordinate closely with high-level client representatives, multi-vendor teams, and lead project managers.

**Educational Qualification**: Bachelor s degree or commensurate professional experience

**Desired Technical Proficiencies**:

- API and ESB integration
- Performance Testing experience
- Familiarity with test automation tools (Ready API would be beneficial)

**Job Functions**:

- Synthesize requirements and architectural design to devise a comprehensive Test Plan, inclusive of Test Scenarios and Test Cases.
- Execute Application Integration Testing, System Testing, and Performance Testing as per standards.
- Collaborate with various functional leads to ensure all features undergo full testing with complete coverage.
- Uphold the defined Defect Management protocol to ensure all defects are promptly rectified.
- Liaise with project management, Testing lead, Development lead, and clients to communicate and manage any issues or risks.
- Provide support for both Major Release initiatives, as well as Production Maintenance and Operations tasks as necessitated.
- Diagnose production issues, delivering a thorough analysis of causes and suggested remedies.
- Collaborate with teammates, including third-party vendors, external agencies, business units, and technology arms.
- Support and lead User Acceptance Testing, including conducting demonstrations of UAT processes.
- Supply monitoring services and produce ad-hoc reports to satisfy client and team requests.

**Documentation Expectations**:

- Proficient in creating and managing Azure DevOps-related documentation and testing outputs/results.
