Order Processing Specialist / Inventory Management

BISS Product Development is a small and growing product development & distribution company located between Mooresville and Statesville, near Troutman, NC. We have a modern office with an open & energetic work environment and an amazing team. We are currently searching for a new team member to fill our Order Processing Specialist / Inventory Management position.

This position plays a key role in the vitality of our business by managing our orders, invoicing, dealing with our business-to-business customer accounts, and managing inventory. The right person for this role will have a strict eye for detail, a thirst for accuracy, and a hunger to excel in the work they do.

Duties / Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Work closely with the sales and operations team to ensure all business-to-business (B2B) orders are processed accurately and shipped in a timely manner.
  • Use QuickBooks Enterprise to manage all orders, invoices, negotiated pricing, terms, customer data, etc.
  • Setup new B2B customers in QuickBooks and manage / update existing customer data.
  • Accurately create sales & inventory reports.
  • Manage accurate inventory in QuickBooks as well as physical inventory in warehouse.
  • Create purchase orders and manage individual items in QuickBooks
  • Investigate customer claims and issue credits.
  • Answer all B2B customer emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date on all customer compliance guidelines and communicate any changes to the team. Police these policies and ensure they are being followed.
  • Assist warehouse with shipping label creation, BOLs, pallet orders, etc.
  • General data processing
  • General office work
  • Support the warehouse & logistics team.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks. Enterprise Desktop version experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in common office software including Microsoft Office or Google Software.
  • Strong software and office technology aptitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to communicate with B2B customers in a positive way to protect, maintain, and build relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, can-do approach and a willingness to learn.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Detail and deadline oriented.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated, honest, ethical and loyal.

Full Time - In House Position (Not contract, remote, or work from home)

Office Hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Pay: $18 - $22 per hour (DOE)
