Human Resource Assistant

We are looking for someone who has an interest in assisting with recruitment, orientations, scheduling interviews, updating, preparing and posting job ads.

Ideal candidates would have experience performing clerical duties : filing, opening mail, ordering supplies, organizing and maintaining personnel records.

Position Summary :

• Supports the Workforce Planning department with various recruitment tasks including, but not limited to :
• Scheduling interviews
• Updating job postings, preparing and posting job ads
• Sourcing
• Assisting with background check clearances
• Assisting with following up on post-offer physical clearances
• Misc. administrative duties Qualifications :

Required :

• High school diploma of GED equivalent Preferred :
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources Management. Skills :
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in verbal and written form.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook and routine database activity.

Ex : email, creating letters, formatting data, using tales, inserting objects).

Additional Information :

• Job Type : Temporary 6 months with possible extension
• Pay : $18, dependent on experience
• Location : Halawa, Aiea
• Parking : Street parking fronting office, placard will be issued
• Schedule : Flexible. Full time, Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM, Part time hours available if preferred.
