Job Title: Theology Teacher

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university

Master’s Degree preferred but not required

Teaching experience or faith formation experience preferred but not required

Purpose Statement: Do you want to become part of something special?Bishop Ludden Jr/Sr High School, an International Baccalaureate (IB) School, is seeking an energetic and qualified Theology teacher who will teach high school theology to Juniors and Seniors. The successful candidate should be well-versed in the teachings of the Catholic Church and demonstrate the ability to inspire and motivate young people. Strong organizational and leadership skills are desired. As an International Baccalaureate (IB) School, opportunities to teach in the IB program may arise.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Teach 11th and 12th grade Theology.
• Collaborate with Campus Ministry on various events.
• Manage student behavior for the purpose of providing a safe and stimulating learning environment.
• Cooperate and collaborate with school administration to meet school objectives.
• Develop a nurturing environment that emphasizes a love of learning.
• Be able to assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Supervise students in various environments.
• Some additional teaching depending on need and certification

Pay: $36,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
