Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of property management and leasing procedures, with proficiency in Yardi software and legal administrative tasks. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to prospective tenants, conducting property tours, and ensuring all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with Fair Housing regulations.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct property tours for potential tenants and effectively showcase available units
- Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in-person promptly and professionally
- Assist applicants with the leasing process, including completing applications and lease agreements
- Maintain accurate records of prospective tenants and follow up on leads
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant concerns and resolve issues promptly
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote additional services or amenities
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and communicate with facilities management as needed

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Yardi software for property management tasks
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures related to leasing agreements
- Familiarity with Section 8 housing programs is a plus
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant laws
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to upsell additional services or amenities to prospective tenants
- Experience in facilities management or property maintenance is advantageous

Pay: $18.77 - $22.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
