Job description

HIRING FOR THE 2024-25 SCHOOL YEAR!

Seeking to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist for a school setting near Bremen, Georgia. The K-12 job opportunity starts in the Fall 2024 and is for ten (10) months.
Requirements

Must have recent experience with students/pediatrics in an educational classroom setting
Recent Georgia school-based speech pathology experience
Proficient with Georgia's Individualized Evaluation Plans (IEP) software.
Active Georgia Teaching license

Educational and Certification Requirements

Master and Bachelor's of Arts in Speech- Language Pathology
Active American Speech Hearing-Language- Association (ASHA -CCC-SLP).
Active state of Georgia Speech Pathologist (SLP) license
Professional Educator Licensure through Georgia Board of Education (GABOE)

General Details

10-month contract
Recent school based experience in a Georgia school setting/classroom is required.
Experience with Ga. I.E.P. software
37.50 hours per week/ M-F
August 2024 start - May 2025
Caseload is K-12 age group.
Kiddos have general speech, language, and communication disorders.
Caseload is approximately 35 students on caseload.
Attend IEP meetings
Familiar with Georgia rules and regulations laws.
Manageable caseload and currently being covered by another CCC-SLP.
