Seeking to hire a full--time Occupational Therapist to work in a school setting starting in the Fall.

Job Details

• 37.50 - 40 hours per week (flexible)
• Evaluate students to determine occupational therapy skills and levels.
• Work with children in school setting (PreK-12)
• Assists students to meet their I.E.P goals.
• Provide occupational therapy to students in a K-12 setting.
• Provide direct OT and/or consultation services.
• Prepare evaluations and/or re-evaluations.
• Communicate with parents, families, school staff, and Administrators on students' progress.
• Provide detailed progress notes of treatment activities, therapy programs, and equipment needed.
• Help students to gain daily living skills.
• Create fun, productive, and specifics OT activities to improve strength.

Certifications and Licenses

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) or the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) certified school.
• Certified through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT)
• State of South Carolina Occupational Therapist license OTR/L
