Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping Clerk. The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring timely delivery of products to customers. This is a vital role within our distribution center, and we are looking for someone who is reliable, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties:

- Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents

- Inspect packages for damages or defects

- Sort, label, and store received items in designated areas

- Prepare outgoing shipments by packing items securely and labeling them correctly

- Assist with order picking and packing as needed

- Operate warehouse equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts

- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in shipping or warehouse operations preferred

- Familiarity with distribution center processes and procedures

- Ability to operate reach trucks, order pickers, forklifts, or willingness to learn

- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic math calculations

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
