Job Title: Advanced Supplier Quality Lead

Location: Peachtree City, GA

Our client is a well-established and reputable company located at a large manufacturing site in Peachtree City, GA. They are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. Responsibilities:

• Act as a technical liaison between purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
• Implement and monitor advanced quality planning with selected future product suppliers.
• Ensure supplier understanding of product and submission requirements.
• Review and approve supplier quality plans on new part programs.
• Evaluate supplier manufacturing processes and quality systems.
• Manage the part qualification and certification process with selected suppliers.
• Provide training in Lean Manufacturing and support Kaizen activities.
• Identify and resolve supplier quality problems in a timely manner.
• Improve quality performance of assigned suppliers.
• Maintain required documentation and files.
• Participate as a member or resource to product development teams.
• Travel up to 50% as required.

Qualifications:

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience in automotive or manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
