What Will You Do:
A Purchasing Associate is a professional who assists in the procurement process by purchasing stock items, researching vendors, tracking orders, and maintaining purchasing records. They play a crucial role in ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of supplies and equipment based on the organization’s needs. This position will be onsite. Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing stock items.
• Check all purchase orders issued for accuracy and completeness.
• Identifying purchasing needs.
• Researching potential vendors.
• Tracking orders and updating the Project Management team.
• Updating internal databases with order details.
• Maintains current and accurate purchase order data in the purchasing system (e.g., delivery dates, pricing, change orders)
• Liaise with Logistics to ensure all products arrive in good condition.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of Procurement in Life Science manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated Project management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, PPT etc).
• Strong collaboration and cross-functional skills.
• Experience in purchasing multiple commodities. (Electronics, Plastics, Mechanical, etc.)

Education:
Combination of relevant education and work experience that will allow successful performance of job expectationsRequirements
● 2 years of purchasing experience; APICS Certification a plus● Experience working with Quickbooks, Dynamics, ERP, CRM, and other advanced software systems a plus

Compensation and Benefits
