Job Description

The HR Assistant performs duties necessary to recruit, hire, and maintain an adequate employee base to meet the customer’s requirements.

This is a part-time hourly role

Responsibilities

  • Execute recruitment and selection of staff.
  • Maintain the human resource information system and employee database.
  • Coordinate employee welfare and wellness.
  • Performs various duties relative to maintaining and processing personnel records and reports.
  • Processes payroll changes using a computerized system.
  • Interacts with and supplies information to job applicants and employees.
  • Provides clerical and operational support to the Director of Human Resources.
  • Maintains high standards of confidentiality of all employee records and information.
  • Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assists with new employee orientations.
  • Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
  • Assists with benefits administration.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two years experience in a related field.
  • Great work ethic.
  • Computer skills.
  • Communication skills.
  • Planning and Organization.
