Job Description: The candidate will oversee a team of employees, motivating the team to complete their job duties through effective teamwork and collaboration. The candidate will work directly with the Process Technicians to ensure that all processes, tools, and equipment are ready for production.

Organizational Relationships

The Cleanroom Lead Operator reports directly to the Value Stream Leader. The Value Stream Leader will provide scheduling priorities, manage staffing plans, and ensures business goals are met.

Job Specifics:

• Understanding of safety practices and clean room requirements
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Assign daily tasks to team members
• Communicate clear instructions to team members
• Manage the flow of day-to-day operations
• Train new team members
• Oversee continuous training and skill development within the team
• Complete administrative tasks such as maintaining the accuracy of inventory and accurately reporting production work orders
• Follow the process of pulling materials from inventory for use in production and returning remaining materials to inventory upon completion of work orders
• Report quality issues, assist the team with root cause investigations, and containment of defective product
• Serve as back-up to the Value Stream Leader in their absence
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of previous medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and direct a team.
• Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English.
• Ability to complete paperwork accurately in English.
• Ability to work safely around chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
• Ability to do repetitive work, requiring strong dexterity and hand/eye coordination.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
