Title: Lead Data ScientistReports to: Director of Computer VisionLocation: Southern CaliforniaJob Type: HybridSalary: 140-170KClinical Data Scientist We are looking to hire a Computer Vision/Machine Learning expert with extensive experience leading the development of the marker-based AR applications, with experience in both pre-clinical and clinical applications. This is a medical device company that is known for delivering innovative and disruptive technologies across a number medical specialties.The person hired for this role will lead the development, validation and delivery of algorithms and implementing advanced algorithms and models for analysis, registration, segmentation and classification. This person will handle clinical trial data analysis, designing data visualization tools, and/or big data processing and oversee all reporting on development, quality, and risk management.

Qualifications:

Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
6 years experience in Clinical Data Management
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Matlab, and C/C
Expertise in algorithm development for life science technologies.
Experience with Clinical development/trial conduct, including ICH-GCP
Big data processing experience
Skilled in statistical analysis, data mining and machine learning

Responsibilities:

Utilizing diverse data sets (including log files, study data, survey data, clinical databases etc.) to inform business decisions and to create evidence that supports the ongoing success of the Ion platform.
Designing and building complex predictive models
Design experiments and evaluate the quality of derived assets and developing dashboards to monitor model performance.
Proactively report on status of development, quality, and risks to management
Design and execute experiments, A/B testing, evaluate derived assets and develop dashboards to continuously monitor model performance.
Prepare Interactive-Dashboards, Analytics, Regression Models, Product & Operational Improvement and Quality Assurance.
Ideates, designs, prototypes, and iterates DS/ML/AI models.
