Binaytara Foundation is Hiring an Event Communication Assistant Near Bellevue, WA

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic Communication Assistant to assist with the communication and coordination needs of our event logistics and development team. This role requires exceptional organizational skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Position Type: Full Time

Travel: Travel required, including weekends.

Driver's License: A valid driver's license, a reliable vehicle (and vehicle insurance) to commute and transport supplies to conference as needed.

Physical Ability: Ability to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.

This is an on-site position. Remote option is not available.

Responsibilities:

Conference Sponsorships:

  • Assist the team in events and vendor communication related tasks.
  • Provide requested documents and forms to stakeholders, supporters, and vendors as instructed by the supervisor.
  • Send sponsorship email blasts to stakeholders per calendar.
  • Provide on-site support at conferences as needed, including supplies transportation, registration desk support, technical support, banners set up, etc.
  • Create conference materials such as sponsorship prospectus, flyers, brochures, etc. per instructions provided by the supervisor.
  • Send conference communication and other required details to stakeholders as instructed by supervisor.
  • Assist the team in providing sponsorship benefits to supporters.
  • Conduct follow up with stakeholders, obtain feedback, and present reports to leadership.
  • Maintain accurate and complete records related to stakeholder communication.
  • Assist in administrative tasks related to stakeholder communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience in corporate communication and sponsor relations preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using communication tools and software, including email platforms, Canva and other design tools, CRM systems, and project management tools.
  • High level of professionalism and customer service orientation.
  • Familiarity with event management principles and sponsor engagement strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
