Key Job Responsibilities:

• Generation of daily/weekly manufacturing operational performance results including:

• Material requirement planning including

• Product costing for new products and maintenance of existing product costing
• Serve as backup for multiple functions including processing of weekly payroll
• Supporting the period-end closing process including monthly journal entries, account reconciliations and timely financial report generation.
• Supporting the annual budgeting process including the setting of product standards and working with departmental managers to forecast overhead spending
• Ad-hoc projects as required

Position Requirements:

Key Behavioral Competencies:

• Ability to successfully complete all accounting and inventory management functions.
• Strong knowledge of the product standard costing process
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and knowledge of Oracle ERP software is strongly preferred
• Able to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong leadership skills, coupled with excellent written and oral communication

Education and Work History:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
• A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work may be substituted.
• 1-4 years experience with 2 years cost accounting experience
