The Bimbo Bakeries USA Sales Co-Op program is a dynamic 5-months paid opportunity that affords students a remarkable experience to participate in fast-paced, real-world projects designed to further develop strategic project, management, analytical problem solving, and managerial leadership skills. Mentors will be designated to guide student collaborations and project work in each area. Students will be exposed to a variety of functional areas such as sales, distribution, and sales planning while earning college credits in various locations nationwide. The students will gain valuable experience and transferrable skills in the following areas:
Key Job Responsibilities:
Access relevant information, interpret results, draw conclusions, and forms recommendations about opportunities to improve sales plan performance
Use data manipulation and analytical tools to define, build and deliver usable, graphical reports that help guide creation and deployment of applications based on patterns, behaviors or correlations determined by the inputs
Works proactively in determining areas needing additional field training or communication of status to create content shared in weekly customer meetings and to distribute nationwide to local sales teams
Builds and delivers post-program reporting of business case metrics to support new solutions coming to market
Responsible to help run pilots and trials of new technology, developing and measuring KPI metrics to gauge success or propose modifications based on metric results.
Present internally and to external business partners and vendors as needed
Measure and build business case inputs from results of the reports and data availability for the sales teams to uncover the potential impacts of more automated, generalized approaches to the reporting
Analyze input customer data as well as information for multiple systems to determine identification methods for data quality anomalies and indicators guiding data governance and the use of inputs for reporting, action or other system analysis
