Role: Data Analyst

Reporting to: Director, Business Intelligence

Location: New York, NY

What’s your role?

As a Data Analyst you will

  • Conduct in-depth project-based analysis on data for teams stretching across Bilt
  • Support the Director of Business Intelligence in ferrying data insights to business stakeholders
  • Search for opportunities to conduct your own exploratory analysis and help guide our product decisions
  • Challenge and evaluate existing assumptions about what is working and not working with a data-backed evidence

Required Skills:

  • 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst
    • Bonus points if you’ve worked at a later-stage start-up
    • Bonus points if you’ve worked with or close to a financial technology product
  • Thorough understanding of analysis through a statistical lens, stress-testing techniques, and common fallacies
  • Ability to conduct, compress, and present complex analyses to business stakeholders
  • Ability to query our data warehouse to generate your own data-sets (BigQuery/PostGres SQL)
  • Prioritization skills, be able to estimate the ROI from different projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Autonomously seek out your own personal data analysis projects in addition to requests from stakeholders
