Role: Data Analyst
Reporting to: Director, Business Intelligence
Location: New York, NY
What’s your role?
As a Data Analyst you will
- Conduct in-depth project-based analysis on data for teams stretching across Bilt
- Support the Director of Business Intelligence in ferrying data insights to business stakeholders
- Search for opportunities to conduct your own exploratory analysis and help guide our product decisions
- Challenge and evaluate existing assumptions about what is working and not working with a data-backed evidence
Required Skills:
- 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Bonus points if you’ve worked at a later-stage start-up
- Bonus points if you’ve worked with or close to a financial technology product
- Thorough understanding of analysis through a statistical lens, stress-testing techniques, and common fallacies
- Ability to conduct, compress, and present complex analyses to business stakeholders
- Ability to query our data warehouse to generate your own data-sets (BigQuery/PostGres SQL)
- Prioritization skills, be able to estimate the ROI from different projects and prioritize accordingly
- Autonomously seek out your own personal data analysis projects in addition to requests from stakeholders
