Senior Civil Engineer

As the Senior Civil Engineer at Billingsley, you will play an integral role in executing our vision for ongoing and proposed projects around the Dallas area. You will manage city and utility communications and relationships, collaborate with the development and construction teams on plans and projects, and drive excellence amongst our strategic partners.

Job Responsibilities:

• Management of one-off infrastructure projects through budget, design, permitting, and construction. This includes, but is not limited to:

• Roadway Improvements
• Wet Utility Line Extensions
• Lift Stations/Force Mains
• Small Cell Towers
• Non-potable Irrigation
• Grading Operations
• LOMR/CLOMR Approval and Implementation

• Coordination of off-site development and project-based dry utilities in the following categories:

• Electrical Infrastructure

• Relocations
• Electrical Service Loop Design (switchgear and transformer placement)
• Timely Documentation for design process commencement by Oncor/Coserv
• Street Lighting
• Easements

• Communication Infrastructure

• Relocations
• Routing design within new and existing developments
• Oversee new off-site routing to existing buildings
• Easements

• Gas Infrastructure

• On/Off-site routing
• Relocations
• Easements

• Relationship management and coordination with contractors, city representatives, and utilities
• Site due diligence
• Review of project-related civil plans and surveys
• Timely preparation and production of Geotech and Environmental reports
• Coordinate with the legal team to ensure adherence to regulations, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• 10 years of progressive infrastructure and civil engineering experience
• Track record of client relationship management in applicable local market sectors
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Procore, and/or other related software
• Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
• High level of organization while managing multiple tasks within projects
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing demands
• Collaborative mindset
