Theincumbent in this position is responsible for performing specific cleaningduties to maintain a clean and aspectic environment throughout theBillings Clinic campus and branch locations. Duties include but are not limited to moving, furniture, equipment and supplies, carpet cleaning and avariety of housekeeping duties. Also responsible for laundry duties inspecific units within the organization and these duties include but are not limited to coordinating the daily laundry service needs with departments;collection, sorting and weighing of soiled laundry, linen and garments;fold, count, stack and distribution of clean laundry and linen garments.

ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS
• Supports and models behaviors consistent with Billings Clinic’s mission,vision, values, code of business conduct and service expectations. Meets allmandatory organizational and departmental requirements. Maintains competency inall organizational, departmental and outside agency standards as it relates tothe environment, employee, patient safety or job performance.
• Cleans and services areas within Billings Clinic. May be assigned to clean inone or more areas within the Billings Clinic campus to include cleaningoccupied and discharged patient rooms, isolation rooms, patient care areasincluding physician’s offices, surgery, dialysis, radiology, etc., publicaccess areas, waiting rooms, offices, stairwells, elevators, restrooms andlaundry.
• Maintains floors to include sweeping, mopping, stripping, finishing, buffingand refinishing hard floor surfaces, shampoos carpets and furniture.
• Removes trash/linen from the assigned area(s).
• Washes windows, walls, vents, lights, and baseboards utilizing appropriatedisinfectants.
• Dusts and polishes hard surfaces.
• Moves furniture and equipment within Billings Clinic and to off site storageas necessary. Change curtains and drapes as needed.
• Delivers and replenishes supplies as needed.
• May perform laundry services for specific areas of the organization. Dutiesinclude but are not limited to coordinating the daily laundry service needswith departments; collection, sorting and weighing of soiled laundry, linen andgarments; fold, count, stack and distribution of clean laundry and linengarments.
• Maintains competency in all organizational, departmental and outside agencyenvironmental, employee or patient safety standards relevant to jobperformance.
• Identifies needs and sets goals for own growth and development; meets allmandatory organizational and departmental requirements.
• Performs other duties as assigned or needed to meet the needs of thedepartment/organization.
