POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced Director of Cloud Infrastructure to play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing our multi-tenant, microservice-based architecture on AWS. Your expertise will be crucial in building a modern cloud infrastructure that aligns with our goals of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD), enhances developer productivity, leverages Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), and ensures optimal utilization of cloud resources.

• Architect and Design: Lead the design and implementation of a robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure that meets the demands of our multi-tenant fintech platform.

• CICD Implementation: Spearhead the implementation of standardized CICD pipelines across teams, automating the deployment and testing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce time-to-market.

• Developer Productivity: Collaborate with development teams to optimize workflows, provide tools and frameworks that enhance developer productivity, and foster a culture of innovation.

• IaaS Management: Oversee the efficient utilization of Infrastructure as a Service, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability of resources.

• Security and Compliance: Work closely with our security team to implement best practices, ensuring the integrity and compliance of our cloud infrastructure.

• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of the cloud infrastructure, identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.

• Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing cloud infrastructure team, providing mentorship and coaching to team members.

• Team Planning: plan and prioritize work for the team, balancing short-term needs, strategic investments, and migration of legacy infrastructure.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience building and leading infrastructure teams.

• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a strong background in AWS.

• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and multi-tenant environments.

• In-depth knowledge of CICD processes and tools.

• Strong understanding of IaaS and cloud resource management.

• Familiarity with fintech industry regulations and compliance.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does have supervisory responsibilities and is expected to mentor new team members and junior level positions.
