Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

We are looking for a talented, enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join the BILL CXO Advocacy Training Delivery team. The CXO Trainer will apply adult learning principles and development methodology to deliver highly-engaging learning experiences for both internal and external learners. The CXO Trainer collaborates with business partners and key stakeholders to identify learning gaps and opportunities. This role works with and will themself become a subject matter expert to facilitate learning events such as instructor-led courses both in-person and virtual. The CXO Trainer will occasionally be asked to develop training content such as eLearning, job aides, and slide decks. The CXO Trainer is responsible for aiding in measuring training effectiveness. They will work with business partners to identify, and develop key metrics for learning and performance success. They will also work to learn and support the BILL platform and customers as needed.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 2 years of experience in training, preferably in a customer service capacity
  • 2 years of mentorship or train-the-trainer experience
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes and procedures
  • Successful completion of various training programs and certificates
  • Experience with the development, implementation, and success monitoring of training programs in all departments across support organization and ability to provide recommendations for all training solutions based on business needs
  • Expert facilitation and presentation skills in a group setting and virtual environment. Ability to dynamically engage, train, and coach employees and various audiences at all levels including leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience working with a variety of partners, customers, internal teams, management levels in the creating and delivery of training
  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related
  • Willing to travel internationally both domestically and internationally, 25% of the time

Competencies (Attributes needed to be successful in this role):

  • Product Knowledge/Functional Expertise - Strong knowledge of SAAS products with the ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and make them easily understandable when training. Clearly understands customer's business operations and needs associated with the product to provide solutions and recommendations for improved workflows
  • Communication - Outstanding communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening. Can clearly and articulately convey information to others in casual or informal situations. Recognize the essential value of continuous information exchange and the competitive advantage it brings. Use the written language to convey both substance and intent with accuracy.
  • Customer Orientation - Embodies a “customer first” mindset. Anticipates how plans and actions of the business will affect the customer in the short term and the long term. Uses information about customers’ needs as the basis of problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational action
  • Business Acumen - Sees the organization as a series of integrated & interlocking processes. Understands general business concepts. Understands that change can have a dramatic & unintended impact across the entire organization. Uses systems together for synergy.
  • Relationship Building - Enjoys interacting with people and excels at it. Devotes appropriate time and energy to establishing and maintaining networks and building credibility. Initiates contacts readily and maintains them over time. Utilizes relationships to create and deliver training where L&D lacks expertise.
  • Expectation Management - Actively manages expectations with key stakeholders and learners for learning initiatives and their role in the process.
  • Learning and Development Landscape - Knowledge of L&D theories, frameworks, and trends inform decision-making.
  • Execution focused - Demonstrates a sense of urgency. Motivated by success and passion of delivering quality business results. Sets and achieves achievable, yet aggressive, goals. Persists to complete tasks / responsibilities, even in the face of difficulties, is optimistic and tenacious all through. Consistently complies with quality, service and productivity standards and meets deadlines. Maintains focus on organizational goals.

The estimated base salary range for this role is noted below for our office location in Draper, UT. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in BILL’s bonus and equity plan. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

Draper UT pay range
$67,200—$80,400 USD
