Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg / Telemetry unit. As a nurse in this department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with medical and surgical conditions, as well as those requiring telemetry monitoring. This position requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing and monitoring patients' medical conditions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Monitoring telemetry readings and responding promptly to any abnormalities
• Providing emotional support and education to patients and their families

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York
• Minimum of 1 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $62.00 - $65.00 per hour
