Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) team. As a CVICU Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with cardiovascular conditions. Your expertise and attention to detail will be crucial in monitoring and managing patients' conditions, administering medications, and ensuring their overall well-being.

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and oxygen levels
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide optimal patient care
- Assist with invasive procedures and interventions, such as intubation and central line placement
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
- Respond effectively to emergencies and provide critical care interventions

Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of PA
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU or CVICU setting
- Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding system for accurate documentation
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Salary: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
