Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various healthcare settings and possess a strong passion for patient care.

Position Highlights:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor vital signs, such as pulse and blood pressure.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Report any changes in patients’ condition to the nursing or medical staff.
• Transfer and reposition patients as needed.
• Follow safety protocol and procedures.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient rooms.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma Or GED
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Certification From an Approved Nursing Assistant Program
• Current Certification as A Nursing Assistant in The State of Practice

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week

• Nursing home
• Rehabilitation center

Standard shift:

• Night shift

Weekly schedule:

• 5x8
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Pittsburgh, PA 15237 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Pittsburgh, PA 15237: Relocate before starting work (Required)
