Job Summary:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will provide essential care and support to patients in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and tidying up
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Monitor and report any changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
Experience:
- Previous experience in caregiving or related roles preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic medical procedures
- Knowledge of tube feeding procedures is a plus
- Ability to prepare nutritious meals for patients based on dietary requirements
- Experience in documenting patient care activities accurately
- Understanding of patient care principles and practices in nursing homes or home care settings
