Responsibilities:

• Perform health screenings and assessments for students when required.
• Administer medications and treatments based on physician orders and school protocols.
• Deliver first aid and emergency care as needed to students and staff.
• Develop and implement personalized health plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Collaborate with school personnel, parents, and community healthcare providers to ensure student health and safety.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation of student health-related activities.

Qualifications:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Texas.
• Possess current CPR and First Aid certifications.
• While experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred, it is not mandatory.
• Demonstrated proficiency in assessment and critical thinking.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage priorities.
