Job Title: School Psychologist - Waukegan, IL School District

Employment Type: Full-time, W2 Contract for 24/25 School Year

Location: Waukegan, IL

Pay: $50-70 per hour

Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to join a School District in Waukegan, IL for the 2024-2025 academic year. As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential psychological services to students, supporting their academic success and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to students individually or in groups.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute insights to support students' educational goals.
  • Advocate for students' social-emotional needs within the school community.

Requirements:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with School Psychologist endorsement.
  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse populations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
