Bilingual Therapies - Director of Educational Resources is Hiring a Remote Remote American Sign Language Interpreter | Scappoose, OR

We're seeking a dedicated ASL Interpreter to join our team, enhancing communication and supporting Deaf/HH students in a remote educational environment. Embrace the opportunity to make a difference from anywhere in Oregon!

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate communication in virtual classrooms, assemblies, and staff meetings.
  • Actively participate in IEP/IFSP meetings and provide essential tutoring.
  • Uphold professionalism with timely attendance and active participation in professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Mandatory possession of an Oregon ASL Interpreter License or eligibility for a temporary license.
  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of onsite school experience beneficial, but newcomers are welcome for a clinical interview.
  • Proficiency in using tech tools like Zoom and various educational apps.
  • Must obtain liability insurance upon employment offer.

Position Details:

  • Role: 1099 Contractor
  • Duration: Current school year with potential for renewal
  • Hours per Week: Approximately 37.5
  • Compensation: Competitive hourly pay ranging from $35 to $43, paid weekly via direct deposit or check. Pay includes both direct and indirect services—compensation even if a student cancels.
