This is an exciting opportunity to become a foundational member of Sila’s Industrial Engineering Team, responsible for designing future factories. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to establish, optimize and deploy production systems from the ground up, setting the stage for efficient scaling of our novel silicon anode operations. Key responsibilities include developing a master model for plant capacity to maximize production performance, implementing innovative replenishment systems like Kanban, and being instrumental in designing the plant's layout and workflow. You will play a critical role in not only the current facility's efficiency but also in shaping the design and strategy of future plants. You will actively identify and solve production challenges, working collaboratively with teams to enhance throughput and reduce costs. This position offers the chance to make significant, lasting contributions to how Sila scales into the Electric Vehicle market.
The starting base pay for this role is between $106,000 and $134,000 at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, equity, and bonuses.
