We are seeking a Freight Dispatcher Coordinator to oversee the daily coordination of freight shipments. The Freight Dispatcher will ensure that loads are picked up and delivered in a timely and efficient manner, while also providing outstanding customer service. The position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask.

. Freight Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities

• Build the customer loads in ITS Dispatch
• Coordinate the pickup, delivery, and tracking of freight shipments
• Track shipments to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain communication with customers and carriers
• Monitor and update load status in the transportation management system
• Resolve any customer issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
• Onboarding carriers in RMIS to make sure they meet the requirements to haul for Hitch Pin Logistics
• Communicate any delays or other potential issues to the customer
• Maintain the customer load files

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of freight dispatching/logistics experience
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
• Proficient in transportation management systems and other related software
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
