Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and providing excellent customer service.
Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following standard company rules
- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking customer orders and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of all beverages served
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in cash handling and experience with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
- Experience in food handling is a plus
- Background in the food industry is beneficial
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and processing transactions
