Job brief
BIGGBY® COFFEE of Canton is looking for people who bring an enthusiastic attitude and commitment to the team every week. You will need a desire to grow and learn the systems that provide exceptional products and services for our customers. An appreciation for the value of each customer that stops by our store is mandatory.
We make growth opportunities available and have seen many staff rise from baristas all the way to assistant manager and store leader positions. All it takes is a great attitude and strong effort levels. We can train you to do the rest!
Compensation
This position pays $11-12 an hour and includes tips.
Responsibilities
· Greet customers as they enter and answer their questions regarding our menu and ingredients
· Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios), up-sell specialty items, and ensure the customer leaves in a better mood than when they arrived
· Prepare a high-quality beverages following BIGGBY® COFFEE recipes
· Serve beverages and prepared food, like Bagels, cookies, and muffins
· Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
· Keep the bar area clean and perform hourly, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks
· Maintain stock of clean mugs and pre-packaged coffees and teas.
· Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
· Comply with health and safety regulations
· Communicate customer feedback to managers
Qualifications
Required:
· Eager to learn and a willingness to adopt the BIGGBY® COFFEE systems and standards
· Genuinely care for our fanatical customers
· Flexibility to work at least 3 shifts per week for a minimum of 18 hours per week
· Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
· Excellent communication skills
· Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
· Must be at least 16 years old
· Reliable transportation
Preferred:
· High school diploma: relevant training is a plus
· Previous work experience as a Barista or Waiter/Waitress
· Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
· Knowledge of sanitation regulations

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
