Biggam, Fox & Skinner, LLP is Hiring a Full Time Front Desk Receptionist Near Montpelier, VT

Biggam Fox Skinner is a busy Montpelier law firm looking for a reliable, self-motivated, detail-oriented person for our Front Desk/Legal Assistant position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the public and Microsoft office and be able to handle multiple tasks in spite of interruptions. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits. Compensation commensurate with experience. Please send your resume and cover letter before June 5, 2024 to Heidi Groff at groff@bfslaw.com. Responsibilities include:
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner at the front desk and by phone, including a diverse group of personalities.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls and transfer calls using proper phone etiquette.
- Utilize Microsoft Office skills for various administrative tasks.
- Manage multiple calendars and appointments of staff efficiently.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Coordinate with different partners and paralegals for office management tasks.
- Utilize legal administrative experience when handling confidential information.
- Provide excellent customer service to all clients and visitors.
- Attention to detail in maintain organized notes, messaging staff, and other clerical duties.
- Collaborate with team members to support overall office operations.
