Big Timber Daycare is Hiring a Summer Camp Director Near Big Timber, MT
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Director to oversee the operations of our educational STEM summer camp. The Camp Director will be responsible for creating and implementing a dynamic and engaging camp program that promotes learning, personal growth, and fun for all participants ages 5-12 years old. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive camp program that aligns with educational goals and objectives
- Plan and coordinate daily activities, including sports, arts and crafts, team-building exercises, and educational workshops
- Train, and Lead summer camp counselors to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students
- Manage camp budget and resources effectively
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding camp updates, policies, and student programs
- Collaborate with local schools and community organizations to enhance the camp experience
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Experience working with students in an educational or recreational setting
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of education administration principles
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
