Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for auditing and making necessary corrections to company dealership sales, prior to posting to the general ledger. Point of contact person for specific number of locations, to give support & guidance on daily transacting, as needed. Ideal candidate will possess strong audit skills and have an eye for detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review/Audit paperwork prior to processing for specified number of locations
  • Audit paperwork to ensure company policies and procedures are followed
  • Problem-solve and work with store to resolve issues
  • Run Reports for audit of sales
  • Perform month-end duties and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of posting BU sales for the month

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS (Education, experience, certifications, proficiencies, etc.)

  • 2-3 years’ experience
  • Intermediate computer skills: Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Strong math skills
  • Able to communicate well with written and verbal communication
  • Able to help build and work in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of accounting operations
  • Ability to read and interpret accounting policy /procedures manuals
  • Ability to calculate figures, amounts and work fractions, ratios and percentages
  • Ability to do research and help develop new procedures for efficiency
  • Ability to assist with training staff

OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES (specialized knowledge, computer skills)

  • Work independently with limited supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime, as it will be required at certain times
  • Detail Oriented
  • Must be dependable and reliable
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information

  • Able to meet deadlines

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

To perform the duties of this job, an individual must be able to read, write understand and communicate by telephone..
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time (3-4 hours at a time). The employee is frequently required to use hands for typing, 10-key operation, telephone dialing, feeling objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to talk and hear.
Specific vision abilities required to this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to enter information into a computer.
