Tuesday, May 28th at Big Star Wicker Park (1531 N Damen) from 12 : 00PM-2 : 00PM. All applicants (new and existing) are encouraged to bring a printed copy of their resume to this hiring event.

Offsite Event Server
Description
One Off Hospitality is seeking Event Servers and Bartenders who believe in the power of treating our guests like family and our restaurants like home.
Event Servers are responsible for executing exceptional guest service in accordance with One Off Hospitality standards. The ideal Event Server candidate is passionate about cuisine, has attention to detail and a great team mindset.
Working alongside industry veterans is one of the many perks of joining the One Off Hospitality family.
A current and valid Driver’s License and means of transportation are required.

OFFSITE EVENTS SERVER
TITLE : OFFSITE EVENT SERVER
REPORTS TO : EVENT SALES MANAGER AND EVENT CAPTAIN
FLSA : NON-EXEMPT
Requirements
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
To be fluent in menus for events, both food and beverage
Execute proper steps of service to execute exceptional service
Walk guests through menu to answer any questions and assist with any necessary accommodations for allergies and dietary restrictions
Listen intently to guests and be aware of body language so as to properly tailor the service experience to those guests
Check back with guests about each dish and beverage, as well as when beverages are in need of being refreshed
Thoroughly familiarized with event menu and specials including ingredients, cooking techniques and plating
Take instruction from Event Captain and follow through instructions
Must be able to tolerate potential allergens : peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, soy, seafood and shellfish
Verbally communicates in a calm, positive demeanor during the course of the function with the kitchen and service team, as well as the event host, to ensure timely execution of events, quality of service, and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local safety & health regulations and One Off Hospitality standards
Assists Catering Captain with any special requests made by the guest
Assist’s with load out from the home location with kitchen team and beverage team.
Assist’s with load back in at the home locations at the end of the event.
Able to work a flexible schedule as business dictates (including nights and weekends)
Able to stand / walk a minimum of 8 hours or as needed
Servsafe Certification and Basset Certification required
Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills)
High School Diploma or GED graduate
ServSafe Certification required
BASSET Certification required
Current and valid Driver’s License and means of transportation required
Ability to handle stress under pressure
Willingness to maintain a clean, healthy, and safe working environment
Ability to coordinate multiple activities with attention to detail
Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Ability to be flexible with job demands and open minded when being asked to complete tasks
Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant
Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing 0-50 pounds
Ability to work varied hours / days as business dictates
Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day
Offsite Catering Cook

POSITION SUMMARY : The line cook is passionate about cuisine, pays attention to detail, has strong work ethic and eager to learn.
Line cooks work in a fast-paced environment ensuring that all menu items are cooked, plated and taste to One Off standards.
