Big Smiles Ranch is Hiring a Pediatric Dental Assistant Near Odessa, TX

Big Smiles Ranch, a leading private practice pediatric dental office in Odessa, TX, is seeking a fun, experienced, and detail oriented chairside dental assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Communications : Interact with patients and parents to provide a fun professional environment.
  • Xrays: Be able to take high quality digital xrays.
  • Chart and create treatment plans: Be able to assist the dentists in charting, and creation of treatment plans.
  • Chairside Assist: Assist both dentists and hygienists in clinical treatment of patients.
  • Sterilization of instruments: Maintain stringent infection control protocols
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with a team to maintain an exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years dental assisting in a pediatric practice (preferred)
  • Current Texas Dental Assistant License
  • Have Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certificate
  • A passion for working with people and creating a positive environment for their dental care journey.
  • Proficient in using dental practice management software
