DESCRIPTION:
The Shift Leader is responsible for directing an efficient workflow and assisting theStore Manager in a variety of store operations duties. This position serves as a rolemodel of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the StoreManager is unavailable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brandbeverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, andleading the team in delivering the Scooter’s “Amazing” customer serviceexperience• Maintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by stayingcalm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs,and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rush• Assist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team members• Develop effective working relationships with team members, identifyingindividual motivation factors• Proactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team sales• Understand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, andoperational procedures in an accurate, consistent manner• Ensure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines• Serve as a keyholder, following all opening and closing procedures• Demonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptability
