Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and take their orders promptly and accurately
- Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks
- Provide recommendations on drink selections based on customer preferences
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible serving practices
- Process customer payments using cash handling techniques and cash register systems
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing exceptional customer service
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for catering events or banquets
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and mixology is a plus
- Strong math skills for accurate measurement and calculation of drink recipes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong sales skills to promote specials or upsell additional items
